Libyan Authorities denied Friday reports that a plane was held at Mitiga international airport in Tripoli.
The reports are unfounded and air traffic at the airport is normal, said Fawzy al Melady, a spokesman for the airport.
The takeoff of only one plane was "delayed due to matters related to security and safety measures", he said.
The aircraft was heading for Tobruk in eastern Libya.
