The number of visitors to Jordan rose by 4.4 percent in the month of June this year, reaching 530,194, compared to 507,732 in the same month last year, according to Minister of Labour and Tourism and Antiquities Nidal Qatamin.
Overnight visitors also rose by 4.7 percent in the same month to reach 387,175, compared to 369,768 in the same month in 2013.
The number of overnight visitors coming as tourist groups also went up by 20 percent in June this year, standing at 16,138, compared to 13,447 during the same period last year.
