Lee Travel Consulting has been awarded the contract to establish a regional office in London for the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority (PNGTPA). Leith Isaac, director of marketing for the authority commented from Port Moresby the capital of Papua New Guinea: “We have recently had a steady increase in Tourism from both the U.K. and Europe and feel strongly that this market will benefit from the services our own local office can offer.” Lee Travel Consulting won the contract against tough competition from over 20 marketing agencies who presented their strategies to the PNG team last November. The UK PNGTPA set-up will include Lee’s managing director Chris Lee, account director Robin Russell-Pavier and head of public relations Judy Feller.
