Passengers of an A-320 plane, which safely landed after a bird strike in Siberia, were flown to their destination point in South Russia on Monday after spending the night in a hotel, an air carrier spokeswoman said. The plane with 150 passengers and eight crew members onboard was en route from the Far Eastern city of Vladivostok to Krasnodar, with a stop in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk. It had to land shortly after taking off from Novosibirsk's Tolmachevo airport after flying into a flock of birds. The crew took the decision to return after a bird strike caused increased vibration. No one was hurt during the emergency landing. "The passengers were initially taken to a hotel, then they were flown to Krasnodar onboard a reserve plane," the spokeswoman said.
