On Wednesday due to a technical malfunction a CRJ-200 plane of the RusLine airline made an emergency landing at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport. None of the 18 passengers on board were hurt, the press service of the Far East Transport Prosecutor's Office told Itar-Tass. "According to a preliminary version, a technical problem in the air pressurisation system that emerged some time after the plane took off from Khabarovsk airport caused the incident," the Prosecutor's Office said. The plane was flying on the route Krasnoyarsk - Blagoveshchensk - Khabarovsk - Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Officers of the air safety group of the Far Eastern Interregional Territorial Department of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) and Sakhalin Transport Prosecutor's Office are currently investigating the incident.
