Saudi Arabian Airlines will start operating direct flights from Tabuk to Cairo as of March 30 to meet the rising numbers of passengers.
The scheduled date of the operation was set on March 15 but it was advanced, said spokesman for the airlines Abdel Rahman ben Hamad al Fahd.
Three flights will be operated weekly between the two cities on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, he added.
"The flight from Tabuk will take off at 11:15 a.m., reaches Cairo at noon local time and departs from there at 1:00 p.m. to arrive in the Kingdom at 3:40 p.m. ,” he said.
He said the move was in line with Saudia's strategy to promote its network of international flights according to air traffic requirements.
