Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed held a meeting with a host of tour guides to discuss problems facing them.
During the meeting, the minister underlined the need of rallying efforts to tackle problems facing the tour guides.
The minister also affirmed that he attached great importance to the tour guide file.
The ministry stands fully ready to provide all the necessary support to the tour guides, he added.
Efforts are underway to find a mechanism which prevents any confrontation that may happen between the tour guide and the tourism company, said the minister.
