Turkish Airlines, Turkey's national air carrier, has announced it is to begin flights to the Cotonou, the largest city and the financial hub of the African country of Benin.
The move brings the carrier's total number of African destinations to 39.
Turkish Airlines will operate four flights per week from Istanbul to Benin on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The all-inclusive and round trips start from €420.
The Benin flight will be Turkish Airlines' 26th flight point on its continental route in Africa and the 107th airport that the carrier flies to.
