Civil Aviation Minister Sherif Fat'hi conferred Tuesday with Somali Minister of Transport Mohammed Abdullahi Salah on ways to promote aviation security in Africa.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the regional ministerial conference on civil aviation security in Africa, held in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.
The global challenges facing the air transport industry and ways of enhanced Egyptian-Somali relations were discussed in the meeting, the aviation ministry said.
Salah, for his part, hailed the warm reception and the well organization of the conference.
