Armed Forces spokesman, Abdullah Al-Ashraf said in a statement on Monday that the legitimate forces carried out an operation in Maton directorate which resulted in the death of 13 Houhis and other wonded in Al-Eizari farm. Among the dead are Bashir Shaker known as “Abu Al-Ahrar” and two of his brothers, Saleh Hadi Al-Hosn, and Hamad bin Ali Mari.

The Yemeni army and popular Resistance forces targeted locations of Houthis and Saleh militias in Hamak Front in the province of Dhalaa, south of Yemen ,and some were killed ,while others were injured according to sources.

The clashes in El Dhalaa renewed in the last two days. These clashes resulted in the death of many Houthis including leader, Mohammed Abdul Malik Al Houthi who was killed by the army and the resistance forces in Saada Governorate, North Yemen. According to local sources ,some activists complained about Mohammed Abdul Malik Al Houthi media secrecy ,saying that is not the way Houthis deal with their dead from Hashemite families, indicating that names similarities with rebel leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi is the reason behind this secrecy .

Saudi artillery bombed locations belong to Houthis and Saleh militias in Saada governorate, north Yemen, while other locations in Directorate of "Razih" were heavily shelled. Arab Coalition fighter jets targeted a rocket launcher, a tank and a training camp in Al-Jubara valley, in Saada Governorate, in resulting destroying the machinery and death of some militias.

The so-called Supreme Political Council formed by Houthis and Ali Abdullah Saleh appointed a new mufti and a legitimate Ifta body subjected to them headed by Shams El Din Mohamed Sharaf El Din, according to the statement published by their own news agency. The position given to Sharaf El Din is still occupied by judge Mohammed bin Ismail al-Omrani despite the harassments he faces in Sana’a.

Minister of Awqaf and Guidance,  Ahmed Attia described this announcement as a new unconstitutional addition added to Houthis’ record ,and such a decision is a constitutional right belongs only to president Abd Rabbuh Mansour. He added that this is not just political, social, and military coup, it also started to include the religious bodies that are supposed to distant from such conflicts. He also express his resentment over the new mufti saying that he is not he first, and Houthis only use them to issue new fatwas to kill people in the name of religion, refusing any attempts to misrepresent Islam.

During the national meeting of Yemeni consultants and parliament’s members,Yemeni president,  Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi said that this is a coup on the Yemeni people conducted by a group working with Iran ,that wants to control Yemen and the whole region. He also called for unity and asked people to join the National Army to help restore the country, asking all people to help and support the government and its bodies to do their roles.
