Syrians in the occupied Syrian Golan called upon the international organizations to exert pressure on the Israeli occupation authorities to open the crossing of Quneitra city to enable them to get in touch with their relatives and families in the homeland Syria after the Syrian Arab Army liberated Quneitra province from terrorism, and restored security to it.
In a statement, Syrians in the occupied Golan called upon the international organizations and the legal institutions to speed up the process of activating the work of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) in the disengagement zone and to exert pressure on the authorities of the Zionist entity to open the crossing to allow the locals of the villages of Majdal Shams, Baq’atha and Mas’ada to export and market their agricultural products in the Syrian markets.
The statement noted that opening al-Quneitra crossing will bring back hope and will contribute to enhancing the steadfastness of the Syrians in occupied Syrian Golan and their adherence to their land, and will free them from the restrictions imposed on them by the Israeli occupation which tries to force them to accept its coercive policies.
The statement added that the Israeli occupation authorities closed the crossing intentionally because it is the only crossing to the Syrians in the occupied Golan to get in touch with their relatives.
