Warplanes renewed their bombing this morning
Aleppo - Noura Khowam

Warplanes renewed their bombing this morning on areas in Al-Taman’aa town in the southern countryside of Idlib, and no information about injuries was reported, while the Islamic factions opened fire of their heavy machineguns, on areas in Al-Fu’ah in the northern countryside of Idlib, which is inhabited by citizens of Shiite community, and no information about casualties was reported, while 3 persons were killed by an explosion of an IED while they were riding a motorbike in Tal Aas area in the southern countryside of Idlib.
The regime forces targeted again areas in Al-Sa’en Al-Aswad, in the northern countryside of Homs after the midnight of Thursday – Friday, and no information about injuries was reported. Also areas in the vicinity of Abtaa town in the middle countryside of Daraa, were shelled by the regime forces by several rocket shells, which caused material damage, without information about casualties.
Calm returned to the north-eastern countryside of Hama, after violent clashes took place between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, resulted in advancing of the regime forces in the area, in which the last night witnessed relative calm interrupted by exchange of targeting between the both parties on the clash areas between them, while the warplanes carried out several raids this morning , on areas in Al-Mshirfah village near Abu Dali in the north-eastern countryside of Hama.
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the regime forces managed to hold their control again on positions they lost in the area for Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and the area witnessed yesterday violent clashes managed the regime forces to advance and take the control of Qasr Ali village as well as other nearby positions, while the aerial and artillery shelling is continuing on areas in the north-eastern countryside of Hama.
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a young man died affected by the injury he had after being attacked by the Turkish border guard forces, while he was trying to cross to Turkey, thus, the number of casualties has increased to 336 citizens at least including 61 children and 32 citizen women, of who were killed as a result of the continuation of the Turkish border guards to target the Syrian citizens who escaped from the military operation in their areas.
In the same context, Seven Islamic State members were killed as paramilitary troops foiled an attack near borders between Iraq and Syria on Thursday. A statement by the media service of al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) said, “troops of the 29th brigade managed on Thursday to repulse an attack by IS against units in Tal Sufuk, on Iraqi-Syrian borders.”
“The troops killed seven militants and burnt a vehicle. The remaining attackers ran away,” the statement added. Despite declaring the victory over IS in Mosul, the group’s former bastion in Iraq, observers say IS is believed to constitute a security threat even after the group’s defeat at its main havens across Iraqi provinces.
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared, in July, victory over IS militants who had held the second largest Iraqi city since 2014. More than 25000 militants were killed throughout the campaign, which started in October 2016.
Having recaptured Hawija in Kirkuk, Mosul and Tal Afar in Nineveh and Annah and Qaim towns in Anbar, Iraqi troops still have only Rawa remaining under the militants control. The war against IS has so far displaced at least five million people. Thousands of others fled toward neighboring countries including Syria, Turkey and other European countries, since IS emerged to proclaim its self-styled “caliphate”.
