Yas Island in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi Media (ADM) today announced that it will be unveiling rare, never-before-seen images of historic U.A.E. at its stand at the Cultural Village on Yas Island. The Cultural Village has been launched as part of an initiative by
the government communications office at the General Secretariat of the Executive Council, in which ADM is participating alongside several other government entities, to showcase the rich culture and history of the nation.
The Cultural Village will take place as part of the 2013 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix festivities taking place from 1st to 3rd November at the Marina Circuit on Yas Island.
In line with ADM's commitment to preserving and promoting the nation's vibrant heritage, the stand will offer visitors a rare glimpse into U.A.E. history through a collection of images which showcase the past and present of the country. The images are taken from ADM's digital archive of content, which has been built over the years by the company's brands in order to shed light on the legacy of the nation, its modern day developments and achievements.
The stand will also offer a unique opportunity for visitors to envision themselves as part of U.A.E. history through an advanced customised digital table, in which they can take photos and see them skilfully incorporated into a rare image of the nation. The images can then be instantly printed as a postcard or souvenir.
