Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Antiquities hosted an exhibition of historical documents and manuscripts and repairing works, as well as the personal exhibition of the artist Idan Jabr titled (miniatures and characters) to celebrate the selection of the capital Baghdad as one of the creative cities, Heritage Arab Day and International women's day.
The exhibition, which was inaugurated by senior deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Antiquities Jaber al-Jabri, and was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture Fawzi Alaterci and Director General of the National Library and Documentation Alaa Abu al-Hasan as well as a number of general managers in the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage and specialists from academics and intellectuals
The exhibition provided national precious documents of the monarchy in Iraq in the various political and social fields, external relations, including the close classes of the royal family and tribal leaders and residents of King Faisal I king of Iraq in 1921 and a speech the king of Iraq on the occasion of the accession of joining the League of Nations and rare marriage document of King Ghazi and Queen Aliaa in the thirties of the last century and the document of the text of the oath made by King Faisal II in front of the National Assembly in his speech, which was followed by the swearing-in.
