Dubai Design District, d3, will gather some of the UAE's most talented design students on an educational trip to Vancouver, Canada, to take part in this year's International Symposium of Electronic Art, ISEA.
d3 is sponsoring four Emirati students from Zayed University to participate in the event, in line with its ambition to showcase local creative talent on an international scale and provide educational opportunities to further develop their creative skills. The four female design seniors, Maha Yousif Al Obaidli, Fatma Mohamad Al Mazrooei, Mitha Abdulhakim and Bashayer Abdelrazaq Qambar, will create artworks after the trip that will be displayed at d3 as a demonstration of their experience in Canada.
d3 is a key sponsor of ISEA, enabling the design destination's team to network with leading industry figures, and to present its unique vision for the Middle East creative community to an influential international audience.
ISEA 2015 is hosted by Simon Fraser University over the course of six days. The occasion brings together more than 450
of the most talented interactive artists and thinkers in the world, who will share knowledge and discuss the latest industry trends around artistic research, design, and computational media technologies.
Lindsay Miller, Managing Director of d3, said, "d3 is committed to supporting young creative talent from the UAE. These students are the future of art and design from this region, and by participating directly in a respected platform like ISEA, they will be proudly showcasing the incredible design talent that we have on offer in the Emirates."
