After the signing at the Chamber office, Essa Al Zaabi said, "This cooperation with Emirates Post Group will commemorate the achievements of the Chamber over the past five decades through the issuing of postage stamps highlighting the key role played by the Chamber in the development of Dubai, and its position as the leading business incubator in Dubai and the UAE."
"Dubai Chamber is keen to build strategic partnerships with all entities in the UAE in line with its constant efforts to promote a culture of cooperation between the public and private sectors to strengthen Dubai's position as a key hub for innovative services. We are pleased to partner with Emirates Post Group in view of its strong distribution network and widespread reach at the local and regional level," Al Zaabi added.
Ibrahim bin Karam commented, "The issuing of these commemorative stamps is an extension of Emirates Post Group's efforts to support national events and promote them locally and internationally. We are therefore very pleased to issue these distinctive commemorative stamps and souvenir sheet to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dubai Chamber. The EPG Philately Department has been following a strategy of helping government organisations and private companies celebrate their historic occasions through special stamps. Many of these stamps are in high demand among stamps collectors all over the world."
"The signing of this MoU with Dubai Chamber is the outcome of joint collaboration aimed at understanding the needs and priorities of both parties. The creative design of the commemorative stamps reflects the ambitious goals pursued by the Chamber over the past 50 years in line with the vision of the Emirate of Dubai. The stamps will boost the profile of the Chamber as a major contributor to the success story of Dubai. The commemorative stamps will be available in all Emirates Post offices for amateurs and stamp collectors as a distinctive joint initiative to commemorate this historic milestone," Ibrahim bin Karam added.
