Kalimat Publishing House chose "Keberna M'akoum" (We grown up with you) as a slogan for its 10th anniversary celebration, which coincides with World Book Day.
Kalimat is addressing a generation of readers who have grown up in their publications, as well as an elite group of writers and illustrators who have been creative in working with their institution since its launch in 2007.
This was announced at the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF), in which Kalimat organized a series of workshops and interactive activities that restore their experience in the children's book market.
Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, founder and CEO of Kalimat Group, said that Dar Kalimat has since developed strong visions based on a relationship of trust, knowledge and learning with young readers and parents on the one hand and writers, painters and writers on the other.
She pointed out that the celebration of the tenth anniversary of Kalimat is not a celebration as much as a celebration of the process of growth grew up with the home of the readers and authors and artists as one family gathered by the passion of reading, learning and discovery.
Sheikha Bodour Al Qassimi, thanked, in a statement, the young readers, distinguished writers and creative painters who shared the dream of the house and became a big part of its success.
The booth was hosted Hussain Bashayra, a 13-year-old narrator, in a reading session in which the child presented stories to his peers, revealing his experience of listening to lyrics and developing his narrative skills since he was three years old.
The festival, the most famous of the most famous stories of the house, was taken from the publication pages to the exhibition grounds, where the children were gathered with characters representing their favorite stories and presented with stories of a unique experience.
The event included a variety of recreational workshops as well as an educational competition led by 12-year-old Mayed Al Murr, the youngest Emirati journalist, and raised an atmosphere of enthusiasm and enjoyment for the participating children.
Since its inception, Kalimat has produced more than 200 books, led by an elite group of writers and illustrators, some of which have won international awards in the field of children's literature, and many of its publications have been translated into different languages.
Kalimat has achieved a wide presence in the Arab cultural scene and has won numerous local and international awards.
