Algerian Minister of National Defence Abdel-Malek Kuainzi (C) inaugurates show
The National Gallery of the Popular Army exhibition opened its doors in Algeria on June 25. The launch was supervised by Algerian Minister of National Defence Abdel-Malek Kuainzi.
The exhibition comes in the framework of Algerian independent day celebrations and restoration of national sovereignty on July 5, 1962. It aims to introduce components of the Algerian military institution and showcase their achievements within the past 50 years.
Colonel Mabrouk Saba said that the gallery will commemorate the military's achievements in different fields, including research, development and industrial production.
Observers believe that the gallery provides an opportunity to underline progress made by the military as well as showcase the culture of the national defence. It also will help to strengthen the relation between the people of Algeria and the military institution.
