The Association for Art and Culture in Morocco announced it will be organising the first ever International Festival of Cinema South Ifni, in September 2013 in the coastal
area of Mirleft.
The organisers said the festival will be a contribution to the existing cinema culture in South Morocco that will allow people to get acquainted with new films and make the area between Ifni and Mirleft an attraction for moviegoers.
Organisers explained that the programme of the festival, which will take place September 4-8, includes official competitions for documentaries, short and full-length films, and workshops concerning cinema techniques, as well as honouring a creative person that has made a significant contribution to the world of cinema.
The organisers revealed that a number of famous directors, actors and move critics have agreed to lend their support to the festival.
