Palestinian director, Michel Khleifi, will head the judges' panel during the 12th session of Morocco's Martil Festival, which focuses on Moroccan and Latin American Cinema. The festival is being organised by the Martil
Club for Cinema and Culture. The festival will be hosted in Martil, which lies in the Tetouan province of Morocco. Its events are scheduled for May 27 to June 2.
The 12th session will be compromised of two official competitions. One of these will be for short films, with the Moroccan director Jillali Ferhati heading its judging panel, while the other is for documentary films, with its judges presided over by Michel Khleifi.
The festival will also be organising an international seminar.
The programme of the 12th session will also include honouring a number of Moroccan and Latin American cinema figures, as well as screening films for the public.
