The festival, held by the Arab Producers Union and headed by Egyptian producer Ibrahim Abu Zekir, will begin on December 12.
Abu Zekri said "the union will consider all television and radio production in 2011-2012. The first and second winner will get the gold and silver pictogram.
The festival will include a separate award for Arabic work in classic Arabic language. The festival will also include Syrian, Jordanian, Palestinian and Egyptian works in their respective dialects.
Another section allocated for Gulf works awarding gold and silver awards for GCC countries in their own dialects, including Iraq and North African countries (Sudan, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria).
The competition conditions include paying a submission fee of $300 for radio entries and $ 400 for television entries.
