Shaikh Sultan bin Ahmed announcing details of The Clusters of Light show
The first three shows of the historical and artistic epic Clusters of Light which were staged at Al Majaz Amphitheatre saw a large turnout of people and renowned artistic, cultural and media figures. The world's largest production about Islam
combines theatrical and musical arts and audiovisual effects and is organised by Sharjah as part of its Sharjah Islamic Culture Capital 2014 celebrations.
The audience expressed their admiration for the show, which chronicles the history of Islam since the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) until his passing. They were enthralled with the unique lights and music and hailed the performance of the four singers Hussein Al Jasmi, Lotfi Bouchnak, Ali El Haggar, and Mohammed Assaf in the many scenes that narrate different eras in the ancient past. The show took the audience captive and held them in silence and suspense until the very end.
