Egyptian businessman Ahmed Bahgat announced he is looking to invest on a range of touristic and media projects in Tunisia with high operational and employment scale, which are expected to be launched in cooperation
with the Tunisian GMT complex. Dr. Bahgat stated, in a meeting
with the board of the Tunisian complex, that the projects are expected to include the establishment of an industrial zone, a residential facility in Zaghouan, a trade center, in addition to hotels and an amusement park in Tunis like the Egyptian “Dream Land”. The businessman pointed that some of these projects will start launching by the end of this week.
Bahgat said he also plans to launch projects to build touristic, sports, and commercial cities on an area of about 800 hectares in Tunisian suburbs, in addition to launching a Tunisian satellite channel,which will be called “Maghrib Dream”, and a Dream FM radio channel.
Ahmed Bahgat is working on achieving a Tunisian Egyptian partnership that would benefit both countries and reduce the unemployment rate, in addition to reviving the economy of Tunisia in the current phase.
