Egypt's government approved on Tuesday a $1.2 billion agreement with the United Nations Partnership Development Framework.
The deal was originally signed in March in Cairo between Egypt and the UNPDF.
The deal covers the period from 2018 to 2022 and is focused on inclusive economic development, social justice, women's empowerment, and sustainable management of natural resources.
The main objective of the agreement is to support the Egyptian government in its quest to achieve national development.
