Etihad Airways is promoting career opportunities for Emiratis in the fields of engineering and flight operations at Think Science Fair 2015 at the World Trade Centre in Dubai.
The airline's stand offers visitors the chance to experience what it's like to pilot an aircraft on a flight simulator, and test the students' flying ability.
There is an engine model and engineer's toolkit on the stand with Etihad Airways engineers on hand to teach students about the workings of an engine and how critical the role is within the airline.
Capt. Salah Awadh Alfarajalla, Etihad Airways' Vice President Aviation Security and National Pilot Development, said, "A career with Etihad Airways is one of the most sought after in the UAE and we're delighted to exhibit engineering and pilot opportunities to young men and women at Think Science this week.
"Science plays a key role in the aviation industry and Think Science is therefore an ideal opportunity to showcase what a career in Etihad Airways Engineering or Flight Operations can offer to those who excel in this important field.
"Every year thousands of UAE nationals choose a career with Etihad Airways. Very often the decision is made after talking to members of our team at events like Think Science, and we look forward attracting new talent again this year."
More than 8,000 Emiratis from schools and universities in the UAE are attending Think Science Fair 2015 between 5th and 7th May. Etihad Airways is one of 35 exhibitors.
