The Jordanian Phenix Center for Economic & Informatics Studies stressed the importance of improving the level of Gaza's people rights in the areas of employment, health and education, as an essential component of the Jordanian society, pointing out that the policies and practices that contribute to increasing economic and social pressures on them deepen depriving them of their basic human rights.

The center urged, in a report released on Saturday, to adhere to deal with the Gazans living in Jordan in accordance with the recognized human rights standards, and also a commitment to the Arab League resolutions calling for dealing with Palestinian refugees living in Arab countries is equal to the people of the country residents in the areas of civil, economic and social rights.

The center demanded for canceling of the idea of dealing with the Gazans in the labor market as migrant workers. The report called for the need to expand the scope of social and relief services provided by relief agency UNRWA refugee children of the Gaza Strip, because of the difficult conditions they face. Besides carrying the Palestinian Authority of its responsibilities towards its citizens from Palestinian children of the Gaza Strip because of the difficult conditions they face.

The report also pointed out that the Gaza's citizen in Jordan face discrimination, in both the labor market or in the areas of access to their rights of education, health and a decent life.

The report stated that the Ministry of Labour's decision, which was issued in 2016, put additional restrictions on the people of the Gaza Strip living in Jordan. It forces the people of the Gaza Strip to issue work permits. In addition to another decision issued by the Ministry of Education that prevents them from working in private schools.

The report shows that the Gazans living in Jordan are not beneficiaries of government health insurance, and that "UNRWA", which is the main provider of health services for Gazans in Jordan, especially those living in refugee camps, provide primary health services, as well as medical care for chronic diseases, diabetic and pressure , along with cover part of the hospitalization expenses in government hospitals in the framework of a special system, which does not differentiate between the Palestinian refugee who holds Jordanian nationality, which is not carried b those Gazans.

UNRWA covers 75% of this expenditure, which reached to 100 dinars for each case, and 95% of the expenditure estimated at 200 dinars for each case of the poor refugees has as poor.

There is a feeling among some people that it is useless to put pressure on themselves to educate their children, saying that the situation of hundreds of graduates of the children of the camp are unemployed, and a significant proportion of them are working in occupations is unrelated to their qualification.
