Egypt’s economic communities welcomed an initiative submitted by investors associations which provides support for national projects that could push
forward Egypt’s economy.
Ahmed Galal, head of International Business and Investment Association, said that the initiative incorporates a number of NGOs that are independently active. He stated that the initiative aimed to unify their efforts for sustainable development and the improvement of Egypt’s economy.
He explained that the members of the initiative had cooperated with legislative and executive authorities as well as representatives of civil society to further economic development. They encouraged these authorities to submit proposals and provide solutions for current economic problems.
Galal emphasised the need for cooperation between different economic powers to achieve the objectives of the Egyptian revolution. He added that the initiative would propose any required laws to achieve sustainable development and highlighted the need to support national businesses to resolve social problems and increase efficiency.
