The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry SCCI has announced the extension of submission deadline for The Sharjah Economic Excellence Network (ShjSEEN) Award till November 30th. The Award aims to strengthen the investment climate in the emirate, boost its competitiveness, and adopt the values of quality, leadership and innovation.
ShjSEEN Award is organized with the support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
Itincludes " five sub-awards;the Sharjah Award for Top 10 Businesses, the Sharjah Award for start-up projects in the United Arab Emirates, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Award, the Sharjah Green Award, and the Sharjah Award for Social Responsibility.
Earlier this year, The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) has opened nominations for industrial, trade and retail services, real estate, tourism and hospitality, construction, financial services, transportation and logistics, education, health care, and digital services establishments.
The Sharjah Top Business Award is granted to the top 10 businesses that excelled in their endeavors, in order to stimulate performance and enable business growth. The award adopts the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model; a comprehensive framework used by more than 30,000 companies across the world.
The Sharjah UAE Startups Award is presented to the innovative entrepreneurial ventures and the newly emerged and fast-growing organizations in the UAE. Entry is open to all private sector organizations in the UAE. Entries will be evaluated based on innovation and measureable outcomes. The winner will receive a cash prize of AED100,000.
Sharjah Entrepreneur Award will be presented to the most successful entrepreneurs who have made a significant difference in their lives and community. Private sector entrepreneurs can enter one of three categories covering Sharjah, Eastern Region and Central Region. Entries will be assessed based on quality, professionalism, leadership and measurable outcomes. The winner in each of the three categories will receive a cash prize of AED50, 000.
The "Sharjah Green Award" is for both, government and private sectors, to showcase their best environmental practices in Sharjah and introduce their innovative ventures in combating gas emissions and waste and strengthening sustainability.
The "Sharjah Social Responsibility Award" is open to private sector businesses and companies, and government bodies from all sectors in the emirate.
The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry “SCCI” and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority “SCTDA”, signed an MOU to consolidate efforts towards the development of the tourism sector in the emirate, and to highlight its importance and impact on the national economy. The MOU stipulates the inclusion of the Tourism Excellence Award under the tourism sector category in the Sharjah Economic Excellence Award.
