Sudanese president Ali Osman Taha The World Food Program in Sudan reaffirmed its commitment to delivering humanitarian support for the most affected regions, the new undersecretary of Sudanese FM the ambassador Rahmatullah Mohamed Osman professed the:  "Renewing of Sudanese thanks to the World Food Program for its continuous support".
Executive Director of the World Food Program Erthren Kosin attended a long meeting with the first deputy to the Sudanese president Ali Osman Taha. Kosin said: "The meeting was good as we discussed cooperation between us," she added that: "The commitment of this program is to deliver human support to those who deserve it."
The executive director praised "the strong cooperation and support between the programme and Sudan", pointing that the nature of the programme made all parties trust it. The parties are now concentrating on implementing what was agreed in the Trilateral Initiative for delivering food to the poor in south Kurdufan and the Blue Nile.
The deputy of the Sudanese foreign minister thanked the world food programme for its continuous support, and pledged its readiness to offer "all forms of support in order to facilitate the movement and activity of the program" pointing that: "The authority is giving priority to protecting programme members."
The general commissioner for Sudanese human aid Dr. Suleiman Abdurrahman praised the project and said in astatement to Arabstoday: "This visit is a chance for discussing more
common issues and cases. The programme is implementing a positive role in supporting people affected by dispute in both states."
