Actor Kiefer Sutherland during preview event for TV drama 'Touch'
New episodes of the U.S. television series "24" are to be shot in London next month, producers announced.
Starring Kiefer Sutherland, the show ended its initial eight-season run four years ago. The program was
recently revived as the 12-installment "24: Live Another Day," which is expected to air on U.S. and British television later this year. Returning to the cast from the original show are Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, William Devane and Kim Raver.
"Hopefully, by the time you're finished watching an episode, you'll feel like you've been there ... on the edge of your seat," Sutherland said at a Pasadena, Calif., press conference Monday.
"I'm about as anxious and wound up as I've been in a long time," he said. "There's a great impetus for all of us to create something new with the show.
I'm sure we'll be hated by a large portion of London for snarling up their traffic here and there, and for that I apologize in advance. Things will be blowing up: cars, double decker buses, things like that.''
