George Wassouf
Syrian artist, George Wassouf , confirmed to ‘Arabstoday’ that he is recovering from the stroke he had earlier this month in Damascus, where he was transferred later to the American university
hospital in Beirut .
Wassouf said that: “God’s protections and people’s love is what helped him to recover”, he added: “I’m a lot better now, and I’m so thankful to everyone who stood by my side, and I can’t forget my family’s support.”
Wassouf said that he heard the rumors which were spread all over the news. He said: “I heard all the fabricated news about, and I want to say that my life is in God’s hand,” he added: “May God forgive everyone. My faithful people’s love is bigger than all these lies.”
On the other hand, medical sources have confirmed to “Arabstoday” that George Wassouf is in a good situation, and he is recovering, while they are continuing the physiotherapy sessions till both his leg and arm fully recovered. The source added that Wassouf will leave the hospital soon to carry on his normal life.
Sources confirmed that wassouf’s parents are still in Lebanon and they visit him in the hospital every day. His dad is in a good situation and he doesn’t suffer any health complications.
