Organisers say the 2013 Casablanca Music Festival was a great success
The Casablanca Music Festival took place in Morocco with thousands of audience members watching various performances by Moroccan and Arab artists on three evenings
.
The organisers said the return ?of the festival was a great success and had a bigger audience, than ever before.
The artists expressed their joy in the interaction with the crowd during their ?songs and various melodies.?
The Ibn Emsik stage saw the biggest turnout with up to 100,000 people in the audience who came to watch Lebanese artist Marwan Khouri perform several songs, ?both old and new.
Moroccan artist Fatima Tihihit who sings in the Berber language and performs folkloric dance also performed on the Ibn Emsik stage, in addition to rapper Don Big who celebrated being awarded a royal medal by the Moroccan king, with the audience.
The al-Bernoussi stage saw performers such as Lebanon’s Joseph ?Atteyeh and Moroccan artists Najat Atabu and Fanayer group with around 90,000 people attending in the audience.
Meanwhile around 50,000 people watched Lebanese star Najwa Karam and Moroccan artist Ghani al Kabbaj perform on the al-Anaq Bela Corniche Ain al-Dheiab stage.
