Chanel hires Italian makeup artist Lucia Pica
Lucia Pica named Global Creative Makeup and Color Designer at Chanel

The French brand announced its appointment of makeup artist Lucia Pica as its Global Creative Makeup and Color Designer.
At age 38, Lucia Pica is already a known name in the world of fashion and beauty, having worked on runway shows for Peter Pilotto, Damir Doma and House of Holland and on advertising campaigns for Givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana, among others.
A freelancer since 2008, the Italian makeup artist has also collaborated with Chanel on several campaigns, including one recently for the brand's Plumes Précieuses holiday makeup line.
Lucia Pica will take up her new duties at Chanel from January 1.
