Jean Paul Gaultier collection takes the runway

World Luxury Fashion Week was officially opened last night by the master of haute couture, Jean Paul Gaultier, to an ecstatic audience at Jumeirah at Etihad Tower, Abu Dhabi.
The evening, “Haute Couture 2012 presented by BMW” featured two
collections by Jean Paul Gaultier followed by a fine jewellery show from Garrard.
Mona Ibellini, MC for World Luxury Fashion Week, charmed guests and looked stunning in an Amato Couture evening dress, accessorised with fine jewellery by Garrard.
Tonight, invited guests can look forward to collections from haute couture houses, Giambattista Valli, Alexis Mabille and ‘on aura tout vu’ by Livia Stoianova & Yassen Samouilov.
The final two evenings of the four-day World Luxury Fashion Week will showcase some of the most prestigious prêt-à-porter brands, featuring, amongst others, the likes of Ermanno Scervino, Carolina Herrera NY, Nina Ricci, Hervé Léger, Paule Ka ‘Black Carpet’ Collections, and acclaimed regional designers, Walid Atallah, Amato by Furne One and DAS Collection.
World Luxury Fashion Week brings together some of the world’s leading high-end fashion brands over a four day invitation-only fashion week hosted at the spectacular Jumeirah at Etihad Towers from 25-28 November 2012.
