Amy Winehouse style Late singer Amy Winehouse was the clear inspiration behind Gaultier's Spring 2012 couture offering, during the Paris Fashion Week. While Jean-Paul Gaultier's designs are often associated
with pop singer Madonna, he paid tribute to another musical diva in this collection. Models walked the catwalk to a soundtrack by the singer, sporting her signature beehive hair and 50s-style fashion.
The collection included pencil skirts and corset dresses; one model was even pictured smoking a cigarette.
Amy's unique sense of style always divided critics. While some lambasted her 'scruffy' look, others labeled her an icon.
The French designer is clearly a fan and reworked his classic bustier tops to suit the “Back to Black” singer's look.
