Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has become the first humanitarian organisation to receive ISO certification 9001/2008 in recognition for its efforts to upgrade services.
Mohammed Yousef Al Fahim, Deputy Secretary-General for Support Services at the ERC, received the ISO certification at the ERC headquarters yesterday.
Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Secretary-General of the ERC, stressed the continuous commitment of the ERC to enhance its services as per the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the ERC.
Commenting on the awarding of ISO certification to the ERC, he noted that the achievement reflects the vision of the leadership, and continuous adoption of the best practices to meet the expectations of the customers and employees.
