Soliman el-Katany has been researching a treatment for AIDS
A Lebanese national has created a brand new medication to treat AIDS and hepatitis. Soliman el-Katany's new medication is now patent-protected, recently granted by the European Patent Office.
In a press conference
, el-Katany said that his new formulation could treat and prevent infections caused by AIDS and hepatitis.
Studies showed that el-Katany's new medication reduced the AIDS virus in the bloodstream by 70 percent, while the percentage of white blood cells [which fight off infections, bugs and viruses] rose up to 30 percent.
And to keep the best part for the end, el-Katany revealed that the formula does not induce serious or inconvenient side effects, according to clinical trials.
