High-heels aid in strengthening your calf muscles
The kick-up your heels workout is calling for all women to put on their stilettos and prepare themselves to get physical. Fashion One aims to put the fun back into exercise with a three set,
six episode workout series that features the fitness trend of working out in your high-heels
The Kick Up Your Heels series includes high-intensity street dance, a zumba-esque workout, and kickboxing. Experienced instructors will guide you through every kick, twist and twirl to stronger calf muscles and better balance. Each episode contains a choreographed routine, and gives step-by-step instruction on how to do the exercises that are promised to get your heart-pumping.
“With April being the Health Awareness month, we would like to encourage our viewers to keep healthy and fit through exercise. As a global, fashion-forward channel, Fashion One will continue bringing engaging and captivating programmes that are unique in the market,” remarked Ashley Jordan, CEO of Fashion One.
“It's fun, it's different, and it’s challenging,” explains kickboxing instructor and fitness model, Taylor Beck. “Quality over quantity. It’s more important to do the workouts right than how many reps you get done.”
Kick-up Your Heels will air on April 24 2013 and will be shown every Wednesday at 9am and 9pm (UK and South Africa) and 10am and 10.30pm (GMT+8 for Asia / GMT+2 for Europe and Africa) for the rest of the world, exclusively on Fashion One Network.
