Stones from across Morocco adorn this traditionally built tourist village
Casablanca- Somaya Olukai

Stones from across Morocco adorn this traditionally built tourist village Coco Polizzi tourist village has brought traditional architecture and Agadir cultural heritage to preserve the continuity of Morocco’s past. The village, which comes under an Italian name, is situated in southern Morocco and was built by a local architect inspired by his country’s history.
Multi-coloured stones collected from across Morocco have all been imported to Agadir.
Red stones come from Argana, green slabs from Anezi in Tiznit and other shades hail from Bouskoura, on the outskirts of Casablanca.
Visitors are invited to try out Agadir cuisine, sipping tea in a tranquil setting surrounded by eucalyptus and sand dunes.
Tourists can pick up traditional antiques traded down below in the village, with oils, herbs and old-fashion garments and jewellery all on offer.
