Samra Village in Kasab Town on the Syrian-Turkish borders
Samra Village in Kasab Town on the Syrian-Turkish borders charms its visitors with its captivating nature which embraces thick forests and huge rocks covered with various types of strange pinkish
flowers and herbs.
The village can't be precisely described as if it exists in dreams due to the purity and the cleanliness of its land as one can rarely see the garbage at the roadsides or in the forests.
The village is not inhabited by a large number of people and its residents are simple and they preserve the nature as they don't cut the trees and they don't even trim their branches as one can see a very unique scene where the branches hang down to the ground despite of their high altitude.
Each tree constitutes a tent-shaped house under which one can sit, sleep or spend some hours till rain stops.
Samra has become a significant tourist destination visited by lots of the Syrian, Arab and foreign tourists after the Syrian drama shed light on this magnificent village and many articles and reports have been written about it.
The sunset in the village is very astounding where the thickness of the trees and the green veil covering the area sometimes prevent the sun from shining on its land.
The architectural style of the village is till traditional and rural as since a very old time the land of the mountains have been different from the coast.
In the countryside, the farms expand over the hills and at the center of the mountains, and resorts and parks can't be built in the village as they would affect the virgin nature, and only the ancient style of building can adopted in building hotels through using natural stones, straw, jutes and other natural materials.
Even the taste of the agricultural crops in the village is unique due to the fertility of the soil.
