IKEA is well-known for selling kitchens that are well-organised
Furniture giant IKEA is set bring out a new kitchen system entitled Metod, the firm has announced.
The firm will initially roll out the new range
in Sweden, Norway and Denmark in April, with later release dates for other countries.
The new kitchen system has apparently been designed to push the limits of what we actually can do with a kitchen. Sunken sockets and multiple screw holes now make it possible to experiment with the placement of the drawers and create solutions in a way never seen before.
IKEA has always pushed its products for their organisational ability and this new range is no different. Now you can have a drawer inside another drawer, and you can even have LED-lighting inside of the drawers – although you’ll have to be careful about your electricity bill.
The new cabinets will be available in sizes 20/40/60/80/100 cm, which means it´s possible to have really tall cabinets.
However, the furniture brand is keen to point of that their old system will still be available in stock in about two years from now, so don´t worry if you just want to change the look of the one you already have.
