Have a look at this original contemporary home envisioned by Ganna Design on the 15th floor of a building in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Entitled “Circle”, the unconventional apartment depicted in the photos below has a total surface of 126 square meters and answers the living needs of a family of four: parents (45 years old) and two daughters. An open plan was chosen for the new home, with study area, living and dining zones all part of the same interior. Several custom-made furniture elements which rank high in practicability, also enhance the originality of the space.
This project introduces the bench into contemporary homes. Users can make the best of the views and enjoy natural lighting, have a coffee or chat in a special ambiance. Next to the bench and elevated area, there is the lounge zone. The designers used a marble wall to partition these two spaces, adding a touch of elegance to the ansamble. This stylish unit also serves functional purposes, without blocking the view and natural illumination. Another highlight of the project is the main living-room cabinet, which cleverly employes frosted glazing to hide away cluttered shelves.
