As part of a bold new look, Citroen’s latest double-chevron grille extends from each of the slim LED daytime running lights, with larger headlamps sitting below these. At the rear, is a set of 3D-effect LED tail-lights.
Some aluminium has been used in its construction, making the new model up to 140kg lighter than the current version also helps improve efficiency, with CO2 emissions from 98g/km and fuel consumption of 74.3mpg from the Airdream variant.
Citroën says the new model retains the ride comfort of the first C4 Picasso but with improved ride and handling. It also offers adaptive cruise control and blindspot monitoring.
According to AutoExpress.co.uk, the new Citroen C4 Picasso goes on sale this summer, with prices from around £20,000. A seven-seat C4 Grand Picasso is expected in dealers next year.
