The British manufacturer is giving car enthusiasts a chance to pilot some of its most celebrated cars. At a private test track in Fen End, Warwickshire, England, driving sessions of between 15 minutes and one hour will be offered from November 14.
The Jaguar Heritage Driving operation is made possible by Jaguar Land Rover's acquisition from a private collector of over 500 models, including several legendary classic cars such as the Type D, MKII and XK150.
The manufacturer's Heritage Driving sessions invite car fans to compare the experience of driving vehicles from different periods. A 30-minute driving session with the Jaguar D-Type and F-Type R (15 minutes each) is priced £275 (around $440), while one with the MK II and XFR costs £195 (around $310). It is also possible to book a ride as a passenger in one of these sports cars for £95 (around $150).
From March 2015, the brand will also offer special all-day sessions that let car fans go behind the wheel of up to nine models.
