2014 Jaguar XFR-S
Luxury car manufacturer Jaguar will showcase four of its newest models for the first time in the region at the Dubai International Motor Show 2013 opening today (November 5). The event will run until November 9 at Dubai world
Trade Center. The Jaguar stand will feature two new Jaguar R models, the 550PS XJR and the XFR-S; as well as two new vehicles which the luxury manufacturer is keeping under wraps until the show’s inaugural day.
The new XJR and XFR-S models will join Jaguar’s class-leading 2014MY line-up of vehicles, boasting enhanced features, innovative technologies and new levels of luxury, comfort and performance.
This year sees the British marquee celebrate the 25-year anniversary of its dynamic ‘R’ badge range, and visitors to the Dubai International Motor Show 2013 will be amongst the first in the region to get up close and personal with the new flagship Jaguar XJR sports saloon and the Jaguar XFR-S, the fastest, most powerful and agile sports saloon Jaguar has ever built to date.
Robin Colgan, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover Mena, said: “The iconic Jaguar R badge is reserved for our highest performance models, denoting cars that are effortlessly thrilling, technically state-of-the-art and dramatically designed.
“With our longstanding presence and success across the Mena, what better occasion to showcase the newest editions of the dynamic R range than the region’s biggest motor show. We also have a few surprises up our sleeves which we are convinced will wow car enthusiasts across the region.”
Amjad Saeed, general manager of Mahmoudia Motors, the sole and official dealer of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands in Jordan, said: “We were very excited for the reveal of the latest ‘R’ range models at the Dubai International Motor Show 2013. This range exudes boldness, performance and sporting design, and is the ultimate choice for car enthusiasts.”
