Porsche launches exclusive 911 model range

First and latest Porsche next to each other for '50 Years' campaign The Porsche 911 is the inspiration behind the latest collection of the Porsche Driver's Selection, as the iconic German sports car continues its 50 year milestone celebrations this year .
The '50 Years of 911' collection includes a full range of 911 inspired items, including a limited edition model of the 1963 Porsche 911 - of which only 1,963 units have been produced to commemorate the year. Other items include sunglasses, polo shirts, wallets, and limited edition leather jackets for men and women.
The common theme among the collection is that it carries the functionality and classic aesthetic appeal that made the 911 one of the most cherished sports cars since it first debuted at the International Automotive Show in Frankfurt back in 1963.
Vijay Rao, General Manager, Porsche Centre Dubai, Al Nabooda Automobiles, the authorised Porsche dealer in Dubai and Northern Emirates commented on the exclusive range of items: "The Porsche 911 is an icon that has graced the roads for the past 50 years now, evoking the same youthful excitement as it first did in 1963."
"The 50 Years of 911 collection is an extension of that universal appeal, celebrating the eternal youth of this classic sports car that has delighted so many people."
Other items in the one-off collection include a 911 chronograph watch, a limited edition aluminium travel case, sweat jackets, belts, shirts and T-shirts, coffee and espresso sets, and baseball caps.
Meanwhile, more exclusive new collections have been added to the Porsche Driver's Selection this summer, including the Steve McQueen Collection, in homage to the Hollywood legend's love of Porsche and the Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race; and the revamped Motorsport Collection.
Also returning this year are the very popular Kids, Sports, Heritage and Essential Collections; with Porsche model cars, luggage, home & office items and accessories among the other items available.
The '50 Years of 911' collection and other Porsche Driver's Selection products are currently available at the Porsche Centre Dubai showroom, located on Sheikh Zayed Road.
