Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, yesterday discussed with U.K. Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond in London, the existing bilateral relations between the UAE and UK as well as ways to enhance them in the best service of the two friendly peoples and countries.
The two sides reviewed the distinguished historic ties and bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, investment and cultural domains as well as ways to bolster them to the advantage of the joint interests.
They also tackled coordination and consultation fields regarding a number of international dossiers and the top priority was given to ways to fight terrorist organisations as well as emphasised the importance of exerting all efforts are aimed to bring peace, security and stability in the region.
The two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in the regional and global arenas. Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al Mutaiwee, the UAE Ambassador to the UK attended the meeting.
