H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has commended the huge cohesion between the wise leadership and the people of the UAE demonstrated by collective support to the efforts of the UAE in Yemen.
In his speech themed "Days of Glory," on the announcement of imminent return of the UAE Armed Forces' first batch from Yemen, and preparations to deploy the second batch to join the Saudi-led Arab coalition's Operation Restoring Hope, in Yemen, Sheikh Hamdan said the 'Days of Glory' bear the sublime themes of patriotism cherished by Emiratis across the country, citing the huge cohesion between the wise leadership and the people of the UAE.
Sheikh Hamdan underlined that the UAE leadership does not spare any moment to further fulfil aspirations of Emiratis for better future and achievements in all fields.
"With the return of the first batch heroes from Yemen and preparations of the second batch to replace them in Yemen, we are filled with pride and belonging to this beloved country, which has proven to the world beyond the reasonable doubt that the huge challenges and sacrifices would not deter it to continue so as to achieve the victory."
The Crown Prince of Dubai, said, "We will be writing history when we receive our heroes who wrote the glory in the annals of history while taking part in the Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia in Yemen. They pushed off the forces of evil. The sacrifices of our martyrs will continue pushing us ahead to dedicate the final victory for them and our nation."
"We are proud of heroes and President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. We reiterate our allegiance to Sheikh Khalifa to double our work to preserve the UAE's gains and score more achievements and top rankings for our country. We also pledge to Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to be more vigilant so as to tackle the challenges surrounding us with a decisive strength to safeguard our nation and sustain the prosperity," Sheikh Hamdan said.
He concluded, "We will be inspired by the ideas and vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who had devoted his life for the service of the nation and the citizens. He established the foundations of the nation in the past, while setting his eyes on the future."
