UAE Cabinet statement on extremism and terrorism

The UAE Cabinet reviewed the issue of extremism and terrorism which are jeopardising regional and international security and stability. The Cabinet expressed its strong condemnation for crimes targeting civilians and endangering international safety and security.

"The Cabinet said the UAE is fighting this challenge nationally and joining an international coalition. No country is safe from the danger of extremism and terrorism and no community is immune from such crimes. The UAE Cabinet underscores that eradicating this issue require a thorough national vision that has concerted efforts, positive thinking, development-oriented vision and a sense of fostering safety and security."

"The UAE Cabinet calls upon the international community to boost cooperation and coordination to fight and eradicate extremism and terrorism, stressing that accepting the others is a cornerstone for a civilised and modern vision which is adopted by the UAE in its fight against terror."
