Iraqi author Zeinab Salbi managed to achieve unprecedented accomplishment, as she became the Arab counterpart of Oprah Winfrey. The famous media host approved to launch an Arabic edition of her program entitled "Appeal" to be presented by Salbi.

The new program aims to underline the women role in the Arab communities and the humanitarian side of celebs' lives in addition to celebrating the achievements of the Arab women across the world. It also explores the political, social, and cultural sides of the Arab world.

Hollywood's superstar Angelina Jolie described Salbi as extraordinary woman. US former President Bill Clinton recommended her to be one of century 21 heroes in 2010. She was chosen by Huffington Post blog to be its super list to push the young Arab people working in their communities.

She was honored many times before from a number of international institutions, as the founder of Women for Women International organization focusing on the women rights. She is considered one of major women activists. She is the daughter of the pilot of Iraq's former President Saddam Hussein.

She received bad treatment from her previous husband after her return to her country, as she was married at 19 in America, so she decided to divorce. Since then, she is interested in the women rights in addition charity and social works.

She managed to save over 400 thousand women from different places dominated by conflicts. She provided over $ 100 million to over 1.7 million families. She wrote a large number of stories about the humanitarian cases with which she dealt.

She wrote a story about father who attempted to escape from ISIS,  as he took them on truck, while his four-year daughter fell out of the car. He decided to leave her to save the rest of his family. This situation left negative repercussions on his life as whole.
